DENSELY PACKED PALSMONIC NANOPARTICLE FILMS OF TUNABLE OPTICAL RESPONSE
Ordered nanoparticles films using micelle nanolithography
- Synthesis method: Block co-polymer micelle nano-lithography.
- Potential applications: Micelles are the aggregation of amphiphilic block copolymers dispersed in different selective solvents, highly attractive for nanoparticle lithography. The micelle films are effectively used for selective localization of plasmonic nanoparticles with controllable morphology over large area patterning in cost effective manner.
Highlights:
- Hexagonally ordered block copolymer micelle films were fabricated by spin/dip-coating of diblock-copolymer in different non-polar solvents (Fig. 20).

- Incubating the micelle films in aqueous citrate stabilized plasmonic gold nanoparticles resulting in incorporation of the nanoparticles in the micelles (Fig. 21).
