The purpose of The
DAE-BRNS 6th National Symposium on Pulsed Laser deposition of
Thin Films and Nanostructured materials (PLD-2011) is to bring
together the scientists, academicians, engineers and research
scholars currently active in the field of pulsed laser
deposition and related processes and to review and stimulate the
progress in basic and applied research in particular thematic
domain with the exchange of new ideas. The deliberations of the
symposium will include tutorial and review talks by the leading
experts, thesis presentations and presentations (oral/poster) by
scholars on the growth and properties of thin films and
nanostructures of different materials of contemporary and future
interest. The emphasis will be on the important and utilitarian
achievements in the field of pulsed laser deposited materials
structures. Some of the classes of these materials are as
follows:
-
Compound Semiconductors
-
Ferroelectrics and Dielectrics
-
Superconductors
-
Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors
-
Magnetic Materials (CMR and GMR Materials)
-
Polymers, Composites
and Biomaterials
-
Metamaterials
-
Plasmonic
Materials
-
Nanostructured Materials
The
submitted abstracts of high quality work will be considered for
invited talks. All the accepted abstracts will be published in
the form of an abstract
book.
Selected abstracts
will also be considered for publication of full length paper in
the form of a proceeding in an edited book/journal after peer
